This is my first posting.
I recently purchased an 8 liter resin water softener. I would like to build a water station in the basement where I can go to and fill jugs. I cannot plumb the softener to my machine upstairs, because there is no room under the sink
So my question is where I could find a conversion fitting that has a BSPP 3/8 female to a 3/8 NPT male. The female would screw on the softener and a braided stainless steel hose with a 3/8 compression fitting would screw to the 3/8 npt male.
I believe these softeners a quite common in espresso bars but they are hooked directly to the machines, but because my objective is unconventional... I'm running into a nightmare.
I hope someone could help me

Here's the part you described:

http://www.adaptall.com/products/brass/8037.html

P/N 8037-06-06 . They are a Canadian manufacturer that sells to distributors. They will gladly tell you where to go to get the part.

David is correct.

Unfortunately, McMaster-Carr will not ship to Canada for new accounts &, BTW, they purchase the item from Adaptall - a little unresolved discrepancy between BSP and BSPP but . . .
