Broken portafilter on Gaggia Evolution - need advice

Been perusing this site and I learned a lot in the last hour or so... impressed...
Anyway, I broke the portafilter yesterday on my Gaggia Evolution machine...
Now here is the question - can the handle be replaced and if so, where can I find out - internet searches have not really helped me on this one. I've seen some images with the wood handles - those are nice, but not seen them for sale anywhere and not sure if they would fit?
If the handle cannot be replaced only, I need a new portafilter - then the question is do I buy a identical one from Gaggia (about $60) or should/can I consider a different brand?
I appreciate your comments.
Yves

Here are two places you can get a handle:
http://www.shop.partsguru.com/RE0015-Po ... egoryId=-1
http://cafeparts.com/productDetail1.asp?ItemID=77931
Check the specifics before you order so you get one that actually fits your portafilter head.

Now would be a good time to have Dave (Cannonfodder) make you a nice wood handle!
