Hi all,

Has anyone used the volumetric dosing with their Breville Dual Boiler (920)? Is it at all accurate?

Cheers
Ben

I've used the one in the Breville Barista, which I presume is near identical, and it's quite accurate and repeatable. You can customize the volumetric dosing by following some simple instructions in the manual. Each button is customizable.

Thanks, I going to test it out and see how it goes, but I was curious to see if someone had already done the testing.

Provided the grind size and dose of the coffee is the same between shots, the volumetric dosing is quite consistent. There are two kinds of dosing on the machine, time and volume based on the Dual Boiler. (The Barista Express only has time based dosing.) I usually use the volumetric one because I measure the yield each time.
