Hey All.

Been wanting a commercial machine for the longest time and have just recently picked up one. Grant you, it needs a rebuild.. BUT.. this is what I had wanted the machine for as well.



I picked the unit up at a local swap meet for $50.00. The seller originally wanted $100.00, but I thought that way too much for the amount of work needed. The unit itself, is an early 90's Brasilia Cappuccino Semi Automatic. I've had this confirmed by the Brasilia US people, themselves.

The machine is pretty much complete, save for the portafilter assembly. I will get a replacement down the road. I'm going to document the complete tear-down and rebuild here as I go along.

If anyone happens to know anything else about this machine, I'd love to hear.

$50 is a steal! I'll be watching this post with interest. I found a Brasilia Del for around the same price back in 2009.
