Hello
My Cremina will heat to false pressure, but releasing the pressure by the lever or the steamwand doesn't prompt it to continue heating, or if it does, the light only flashes on for a second and the boiler works briefly.
The wand is still ejecting steam properly when it does have pressure. If i dial the machines pressure setting down it works properly for the first couple of doses (but not high enough for a decent shot). If i then steam milk it will eject the stored steam in the bolier, but does not switch back on as the pressure drops.
Its a refurb which i stripped, cleaned and replaced all the gaskets and seals as per Orphan Espresso instructions. The pressor sensor has freedom of movement and spring works, clicking up and down manually. The electrical connections are all working, tested with a volt meter.
Its a 1987 model, which I bought for $5 at a yard sale. Didn't have any idea what it was till i got it home, thank you internet.
I suspect its the pressure switch, but am baffled by it working partially. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dan
