Hi,

this video may not bring much to the table.. but it may be amusing to watch for some.. I hope ;)

this is a 4.5 liter single boiler with 1850w heat element.

I am sorry, but I do not get the point. Can you elaborate on that? What and why are you trying to achieve? (I was watching it without sound, maybe there are some audio comments there?). Thank you.

Ok, you can dispense water and run the steam wand at the same time, like every other machine on the planet. What is the point, aside your flow rate being way high.

woahh..
chill pill to the guy on the right.!! ; )

I had few HX machines and most idle at 1.2-1.4 bars,
according to the manual, the boiler of my SanRemo is suppose to idle at .5-1 bar
I thought that was kind of low for steam power...
so I made this short video showing how much steam 1 bar can produce..
I know pretty much any HX machine can do the same... I had HX machines from 1.2L boiler and up, never shortish of steam power..
but seriously, don't know about "every other machine on the planet".
Right now I have with me a Gaggia Classic (from planet earth), nice machine and all, but it can't keep the steam and pull shots like that at the same time ;)

I think people that don't own a HX machine yet can find this short video more amusing than the once that already have one (or two).

Now it makes more sense. You title did not lend any clue as to what you were demonstrating. Something like 'Steam demo of SanRemo at one bar' would have eliminated the confusion.

One of the things I like about big boilers is the ability to set the pressure down while retaining lots of steam power. I use to run my old Faema two group at around 0.8 bar and it would still steam all day, but that was a 220V machine and a 12 liter boiler so recovery rate was not a big issue.
