This past week I finished off the small bag of Compelling & Rich's Panama Silla de Pando Honey Gesha from 90 Plus coffees. Gesha's tend to be to pricey for me to justify their purchase, but this bag was only $12.50 for 150g, and I've loved ever 90 Plus coffee I've had so decided to give it a try. Am I glad I did! This coffee was bursting with an amazing aroma and taste of sweet, sugary pink tropical fruit hard candy, subtle black tea, and a bouquet of rose aroma. Delicious as an aeropress and SOE. I only wish I had purchased a larger bag...

I wouldn't think to serve cherry cola hot, but such notes in Velton's Sulawesi Toarco Toroja A make one say "Wow!"

Hello all,
I am drinking a delicious cup of Ethiopian Sasaba, brewed by Clever. It comes to me from Ceremony Roasters in Annapolis, and these guys seem to be top shelf. It's a dry processed bean from the Guji zone. Roasted to a medium or what many would call a city+ I suppose. If you chew the bean you get a great berry flavor that comes out in the brewed cup. not over the top, but a really nice undercurrent that's more pronounced in the finish as the cup cools. A big shout-out to JmanEspresso for the recommendation - you the J-man!
So what are you drinking right now?

Just made an shot for iced milk drink (hey its 82 in South FL who wants to be drinking hot coffee ), Dark Nebula blend but the company doesn't tell what makeup their blends are, all I know is its damn good and smooth. Very nutty and chocolaty, and pretty sure it has some robusta in it as the crema is really thick and nice, just seems to make milk drinks even "creamier" feeling/tasting.

I am really enjoying a George Howell La Minita from Costa Rica and and Kenyan Espresso from George Howell.
Also recently LOVED an Ethiopian Sidamo from Esselon.

Yesterday I picked up a bag of Dogwood's Sulawesi Toarco at a local food co-op, 4 days post roast. Holy smokes, everything from the initial smell to the last sip blew my socks off. It's a nice scenic detour from the super fruity coffees I've been drinking lately. Dogwood has provided plenty of interesting information on this coffee and origin: http://www.dogwoodcoffee.com/collection ... cts/toarco
