What else should I try for straight espresso? - Page 3

Personally, I don't love the Cafe Lusso GMC in a super tight 1:1 shot like that. Looking at my notes from February (the last time I had it), I found I preferred 15g in (with a 15g VST), 30g out, in 30-ish seconds at 201F.

My brother got here yesterday and brought me some coffee from Puerto Rico. Roasted the day before he left (he actually waited for it while it was being roasted)... https://www.haciendatresangeles.com Taste like the Vivace Dolce but without the strong caramel flavor... and just as much crema. I still like the Vivace more, but this coffee is good (might be bias since it comes from my homeland

)

Wanted to try something different and I ordered the following coffee beans from George Howell:
Alchemy Espresso
Daterra Espresso
Tarrazu Espresso

I also ordered 4 bags of Vivace Dolce that arrived yesterday. Time to invite friends over for some espresso

How was the Daterra espresso? I bought a bag of the espresso and the light roasted Daterra to try out today.

I drink 99% straight espresso and I believe Caffe Lusso Lionshare is the best I've used. I've ordered it more continuous times than any other coffee. Their service and shipping is great.
