I am expecting delivery this week. @LukeFlynn since we both have a BDB this would be a good opportunity to compare grinders. Or more precisely, to see if my grinder pulls the same flavors out of the bean. I will use your same brew parameters.
Considering it's not side by side I probably wouldn't take it too much to the heart, are you referring to the Smart Grinder? Or did you upgrade?

Smart Grinder. Upgrade still in process. I think it will be an interesting experiment though. Not taking any of this to heart. Its a bit of an unique opportunity though and worthwhile.

Acme Roaster Motor City still delivering. Marking this one as a top 5 for me, with serious contention for first place.

Don't hate me but I'm drinking a Bama Blitz from the coffee shop. Sweet, big bodied with cinnamon and a hint of coffee. :-)

Today I started off with a nice siphon of the Panama Elida Natural I picked up from Klatch. It was a delicious cup, full of sweet strawberry acidity, rose/lavender aromatics and an interesting tawny port note in the background. It also made for a great shot yesterday on the Caravel. I'm finding it hard to wait until after lunch for a second cup!

Malaysian Johor Kulaijava

Genus is Liberica
Fully Peaberry
Roasted by MyLiberica
Dose: 20g
Yield: 60g
Extraction time: 27 seconds
Extraction Temp: 97 celsius

Apple sweetness, winey acidity, chrisanthemum and herb notes.... very weird ride.. first time I've pulled Liberica's through the BDB
It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.

Sounds like a great cup of tea! No hate, just a little fun.
