Steve,
Greenbeanery is NOT an ideal place to get freshly roasted coffee because, in Toronto, there is much better coffee available than what they produce.
Lit Espresso Bar sells the Stumptown selection of coffees, so go get your hairbender there.
Mercury Espresso sells the George Howell selection of coffees, so go get your Addis, Alchemy there.
Crema - there's a small location at Yonge/Bloor and 2 others in Toronto, they sell the 49th Parallel selection of coffees - Epic isn't my fave, but that's what you can get there.
Lost & Found Clothing shop and espresso Bar - you can get the Metropolis selection of coffees there. Redline is a nice espresso
Manic Coffee sells the Intelly selection of coffees and also the Social Coffee & Tea Co. coffees.
Te Aro has two locations - one is called CRAFTED - they sell their own stuff. It's ALRIGHT I don't go there much at all, they've had some highly reviewed espresso blends, but their regular blends are pretty BLAH.
Detour coffee is sold at DARK HORSE ESPRESSO BAR, it's alright... I'm not a fan, but dark horse also sells the 49th coffee selections.
Cafe Pamenar - in Kensington - sells the Discovery selection of coffees - very nice. - They do not get their coffees within 2-3 days... more like 6 or so from what I've been told...
Communal Mule - get your Counter Culture selection of coffees here.
All of the places above get their coffees within 2-3 days of roast from the roaster.
Hope that's GOOD ENOUGH!!!
haha
