Does anyone have experience with this particular blend ? Any suggested brew
parameters ? A quick search of HB yielded no results.

Ok, since nobody has much to say about this blend, I will offer
my opinion :) . First off, some background from Te Aro.

ELEVENS

A seasonal two bean blend of our honey processed Panama Rio Serreno
with a very fine fully washed Sidama from Ethiopia.

Te Aro Espresso brewing specs:
Dry dose: 17-18g
Brew temp: 202F
Brew time: 25-28 sec
Shot mass: 32-35g

I'm on my second pound of Elevens Espresso from Te Aro and I can
definitely say I like it quite a bit. It is definitely has a fruit
forward taste and while it took me a while to get it dialed in, it was
definitely worth the effort.

On my Spaz, I'm using the following parameters.

Coffee was 4 days post roast

Dry Dose: 15g
Brew Temp: 93C
Pre-Infusion: 3s @ 2bar
Brew Time: 25s
Shot Mass: 29-30g ( %50 ratio )

I originally tried it at 94C but found it had better balance at
93C. Nice floral nose, definitely get "orange" with a medium
finish.White chocolate comes thru nicely in my capp and macchiato.
$17 /lb.

I had much the same sort of experience with nice orange notes, but sometimes the lack of intrigue in the middle and tobacco notes weren't my favourite. Here are all my thoughts on my blog ... http://blog.coffeestork.com/?p=1137
