So i needed some beans and found streamline espresso at freshmarket. Roasted 4.17. It brews crema/grind/time wise fine, but there is very little* smell from the beans, or at least not any strong smells, more what i would expect from older than 2 weeks beans. Was just curious if this lack of dominate smells is usual? Significantly older counter culture smells much stronger-every bag and blend-through the bag no less, than this does out. Of the bag and even when ground. Taste is pretty decent but subdued-overall pleasant.

Anyone else notice this from this blend or did the smells really fade away that much faster than normal? Maybe i am just getting spoiled from too much ethiopian?
