I've had some luck ordering Ecco from Roaste the end of the week before I want it. It tends to ship early the next week, getting here on Thursday or Friday of the following week. While Ecco is a favorite here, I think the problems are entirely with Ecco's shipping department, as the experiences are even worse when you order from them direct. In that case the combination of UPS and Ecco shipping is hard to overcome.

To go just slightly off topic, the champion shipper (not through Roaste) is the direct shipping of Red Bird. Ordered Wednesday, here USPS on Saturday. Great coffee to boot.
