Post a pic of your pour..

Postby davidr88 on Tue Apr 07, 2009 4:05 pm

I've seen the "Post a pic of your home espresso setup" thread and thought it would be good post pictures of your pours from today. One picture or a stream of them from grind to cup.

Me suffering with the gaggia steaming wand, haha.
Just a double rosetta attempt, came out a bit messy but alright i guess.

Nice latte art, especially considering the crappy stock wand on the Classic. The shot looks good too. What kind of beans are you using?

I'll post some pics of my pour later when I get home.
Lock and load!

Thanks, far from my best art but it was my first ever double rosetta attempt. The beans i was using in that shot were pre roasted and vac packed. Cafe vergnano 5 bean blend. Its the only packaged beans I would ever use because it's the only one with good results. I need to do a trip to my roaster and get something fresh.

This looks great. Are you using the panarello tip, or just taking it off? I find I get better results without it.

What kind of grinder are you using with your Gaggia?

Here's my feeble attempt from this morning. Just the finished product, though.

I'm getting better, at least it didn't end up on the counter today. Repeatability is hard, guess it comes with more practice.

Really nice!

Yeah. I find repeatability to be the tough part. I was really starting to get it, and then I went about two months without being able to pour a thing. Re-read all the guides, and finally feel like I'm getting back on track/ more consistent.

Keep it up.
