I'm a huge fan of Kickapoo. Ruby's subscription plan is also fun. Both are located in Wisconsin.

espressoonmymind wrote:enjoy these days Klatch Coffee, Extracto, Dragonfly, Paisley Road Roasters, but best cup I've had so far was from Screaming Beans in Amsterdam this summer. Talk about cocoa and was the biggest doubles I've seen. Made on a manual Mirage Idrocompresso the woman new how to pull down on that grip.
Just found out about Dragonfly, what did you try of theirs?

I'll add for the OP, Paradise Coffee Roasters and Anodyne (which you don't see mentioned much on here)

Looked at Dragonfly! Made my first order with them. They had a highly rated Yemen coffee and this will be my first coffee from Yemen! So I am excited. A new coffee and also a new roaster. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thank! I will put Anodyne on my list. I did try a coffee from Paradise and it was solid but didn't knock me out. Might have been the type of coffee. I will try them again as their service and shipping were exceptional!

I've got a 5lb of the Crema Dolce, will get a bag of Vesuvius next... good pricing, good non-acidic cup.

Been a long time since I ordered from them. But a shop by me used to actually carry Intelly and Anodyne and eventually stopped carrying Intelly as Anodyne was better and preferred both customer wise and barista wise lol. Their Atomic Blend was great straight and in milk. Kinda forget about them till the other week was at another shop here where some guys on this board put together a meetup and he had Anodyne there.

I'm a big fan of Velton's Coffee - I have never had anything less than stellar coffee from him. Also a big fan of Ceremony and De Mello Palheta (Felix is an awesome guy).

I used to be a fan of Red Bird but my last two orders have been terrible (especially the last one). Also not a fan of Ruby - they roast way too light for my tastes. I must've tried around 8-9 different bags from Ruby trying to force myself to like the popular kid in town but it was all the same: unpleasant acidity all similar to Chromatic's Radio roasts. I was only able to get a 'decent' cup using RO water and that is just.... :|

+1. Bonsai espresso and basically any of the single origins. Mexico Nayarita is a standard from him --- Delicious as espresso.
