Leftist Espresso from Gimme Coffee - Page 3

Postby scottfranklin on Fri Jan 15, 2010 7:33 pm

1 lb of Leftist and Piccolo Mondo just arrived. My first shot was of 2-day old Leftist @ 200°. It was definitely less fruity than Klatch's Amaro Gayo, and a bit sour. I'll up the temperature tomorrow to 202° or so and see what happens.

Does anyone have suggestions for de-gasing time (for both) as well as temperatures?

Give them both 5-7 days rest before expecting much. Leftist isn't a fruity blend but I enjoyed the lb I had recently. Can't say the same for the Piccolo which was pretty bright but it made decent Americanos.
