www.ptscoffee.com: without the love, it's just coffee

Info on coffee regions, growing/processing methods, acidity etc.

Hi all,

I'm hoping somebody here can help me. I'm trying to find on the web a resource listing all the different coffee producing countries with details of terrains, growing and processing techniques, general taste characteristics, acidity levels etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction as I haven't come up with much so far! Any book recommendations covering this area would also be great.

Many thanks

Sweet Maria's sells green coffee, and has a web page for every country's coffee. These contain introductory sections that contain most of the information you seek.

http://www.coffeeresearch.org/coffee/originsmap.htm left side, click on origins, then select an origin.

Otherwise, several coffee importer's websites that I've run across have notes on some, most or all of the coffees, often including the information you're looking for.

In no particular order:

http://www.royalcoffee.com/offering.asp# "More Info"

No pecuniary interest in any of the links.

Why do you ask?
