Fruity Mochas

Postby BentheBarista on Thu Mar 15, 2007 2:50 pm

I found a strawberry mocha in a barista's handbook. After making my own, beautiful drink, I got one from Starbucks. Both were wonderful.
I rarely mix fruits with mochas, but the drink comes out tasting like a stuffed chocolate, and you can still taste the espresso underneath. It's wonderful.

I tend to prefer the fruity mochas from Lekempti to the ones from Starbucks; in them the chocolate and berries are the coffee.

Jim,

It's funny you mention that. I just pulled a shot of Paradise Roasters Espresso Classico blend that was very close to perfect. I tasted chocolate and cherries. My first order of Black Cat arrives on Monday.
