Would this be the same thing as the Yemen Qishr Sweet Marias offered a few years back? I enjoyed that at the time, but haven't thought of it in ages. The idea of mixing it in with coffee never occurred to me, that's a pretty neat idea.

Qishr and cascara are the same.

My understanding is that cascara isn't tea, but rather a laxative. I've always known the tea to be called Qishr, but the cascara name seems to becoming more and more popular. I admit that I find this detail more frustrating than I should.

edit:
...and before anyone says it, I should just relax(ative). *rimshot*
If your tiny coffee is so great, then why don't you drink more of it?

I believe qisher is Arabic; cascara is Spanish for same product.
