Darkest Roast Coffee online?

Im looking for Really dark roast coffee beans, anyone have a website with their favourite dark roast on?

I can't comment on the taste of others, but I remember little discussion of dark roasts on this forum that was favorable. The problem is that most dark roasts are done to keep the coffee fresher longer or was done to lower grade coffee so that the flavor (sorry - flavour) or the roast was dominate over what would have been the flavor of the coffee. There are some coffee origins that benefit from dark roast, but most do not.

you can look at stumptown french roast, or intelligentsia el diablo blend. But being in london would be harder to find.

Sorry, I cannot offer roaster recommendations to you in the UK. For those in the US following this thread, I found Paradise Coffee Roasters' Espresso Havana quite good, though it's been awhile since I ordered it.

This espresso roast is the darkest I've ever used and it was very enjoyable.

However, a "really dark" roast is subjective and you'll struggle to find a good roaster in the UK that produces oily beans so if that's what you're after these may not be dark enough for you

Don't know English roasting companies; but I like Kenyan coffees best for dark roasts.

Darker roasts I've ever tried was without a doubt the blends from Buono Espresso. Black and oily, IMO carbonised. It's like drink carbon :roll:
