Black Sheep, MN House Blend Parameters

Postby bowie on Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:15 pm

Don't read about this place much around here, but has anybody had any experience with Black Sheep's house blend? The double they pulled me from their Cyncra (203F) was the kind of nice chocolate/cherry bomb that I would associate with more forgiving blends. I haven't been able to get close at (16g) %70 or %100. Even tried a lungo-y shot for something at least drinkable to no avail...
May you be cursed with enthusiasm for products manufactured in "developed" countries.

If you got something sourer or bitterer, use a finer grind, a lower dose, but keep the brew ration to whatever they use (probably 67% or so). You probably don't own a Syncra, and dosages do not transfer between machines.
