I've never ordered from them before; can someone tell me a good blend to try out for the first time (espresso)? I heard Daterra is good, but then they have three different versions of it (North, South, and 'Calabria style').

The further south you go in Italy, the darker the roast. Calabria is the tip of the 'boot' next to Sicily

Many people tend towards the Yirgacheffe, pulled as a traditional spouted double.

The Daterra Northern, probably the lightest espresso roast in the States, is often absolutely mind-boggling, but perhaps requires specific extraction parameters. Delicate and smooth honey and nuts.

Daterra Calabria makes a gobby chocolate triple ristretto.

They have limited-edition espresso roasts now and then. None seem to be scheduled at the moment, though.
