Barismo espresso beans

I just picked up a couple bags of Barismo Clockwork espresso beans (out of Arlington, MA). This is their basic espresso blend. I think it's pretty good stuff. Fruity and earthy (when very fresh). A little lighter roast than Black Cat. Has anyone tried this blend, or any other espresso beans from this roaster? Any thoughts on this roaster?

I live a couple of street from their new cafe, Dwelltime. Their coffees are great. I highly recommend picking up their online "roaster's sampler." I would like to see more fruitiness and floral flavors in their coffees, however.

I just rechecked Barismo's site. The espresso bean sampler is: (3) 1lb bags of their choice. Their 1lb bags go for between $14-$18 per bag, so three pounds for $42 bucks looks like a good deal. Thanks for the tip bostonbuzzbostonbuzz wrote:I highly recommend picking up their online "roaster's sampler".

Barismo uses a cool Feima roaster from Taiwan, pretty sure they modified it. Comes with LOTS of bells and whistles.

Per Bostonbuzz's recommendation I ordered the (3) 1lb bags of espresso sampler "Roasters Pick" from Barismo. Roasted and delivered the next day. About $16/LB delivered.
1. Finca El Quizarra espresso: Costa Rica fully washed caturra + catuai
2. Finca Salaca Black Honey espresso: West Valey Costa Rica Honey processed typical
3. Clockwork espresso: 60% inzovu, Rwanda & 40% finca salaca black honey, costa rica
I tried their Clockwork a few weeks ago. Very good quality. Nice med roast. My father said he liked it more than the Black Cat (reg & organic) we have been using so far. I don't have much experience with various companies blends, but I do think Barismo is putting out pretty good stuff, based on my first try. I will have to test out these 3 bags out and get back to you with the results, based on my limited knowledge, and unrefined buds.

I just got my Barismo shippment today. I ordered the espresso roasters 3-pack pick, and drip roasters 5-pack pick. Below are two new espressos I have not yet tried. I am pulling Clockwork right now, from a previous batch, and I think it's a pretty solid espresso blend. My last batch included Finca Salaca Black Honey. That one had real a nice rich chocholate kick. Can't wait for these to degas, so I can pull some shots!
