Barefoot Sidamo

Postby roblumba on Fri Nov 07, 2008 8:28 pm

Barefoot has an Ethiopian Sidamo that has been pulling great. Very impressed. I've made several shots where the blueberry taste and aroma was so overwhelming. It's been doing incredible in milk too. With a little vanilla syrup it was tasting like blueberry and maple syrup. It also has a very deep rich chocolate. Not so much on the bitter side, but on the chocolate liquor side. Very nice.

Yes it does rock! We have had it on our single origin espreso for the past few days. Everyone loves it. Great in milk dranks for sure. It is one third of the boss espresso blend from barefoot. I have been enjoying it quite a bit.

I love you barefoot!

Kisses.

Barefoot is fine roasting. I noticed that the Starbucks Sidamo is a good espresso bean when the fresher more artisanal coffees are not available.
