^^^ They're in the sampler thread (but thanks).

I have been working on bags of Ethiopian, Kenyan and Colombian from Flight while in NZ this week. I find them overroasted.
I prefer the Nordic Roasting style.
Just wanted to follow up on the Flight coffees.
In general I find that most of the coffees I really like tend to peak in the 5-8 days post-roast window.
To my surprise I did not find this to be the case with the coffees from Flight.
As I had a 500g bag of each I was drinking them up to 14-17 days post roast and they really started to shine at the end of the bag. Subtle fruit flavors and aromas suddenly appeared with age that simply appeared muddled in the 7-10day post-roast time frame.

Sensory Lab, Melbourne, Australia
has 250g bags/boxes of coffee.
I picked up two of their filter roast Kenyan's which I am finding to be phenomenal.

^^^ Good call--thanks! Added.

I'm removing Ruby, since they don't seem to be offering smaller bags anymore. Too bad! Maybe Jared will reconsider in the future.

I caught the Blue Bottle announcement that they're migrating Tonx customers over to their site tonight and making changes in their offering on their blog here.

What this means for this thread is more size offerings.
Sizes - For existing Blue Bottle guests, we've added more flexible size options. Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to order coffee in 6-oz, 12-oz, 24-oz, and 36-oz increments. (Tonx guests have always had these options.) Blue Bottle guests who'd been receiving coffee in one-pound bags will still be able to receive those, too.
Sounds like if you have a 1# Blue Bottle or Tonx subscription, you're grandfathered, but the 1# is going away and there's a 6 oz size starting at 6 am tomorrow, September 18th.

^^^ I see fewer BB coffees offered now, and it's 12-oz. bags only for the moment. Maybe their site update is incomplete; I'll check back later tonight or tomorrow.

I think the new sizes are only an option for subscriptions. Individual coffee orders seem to only be available in 12 oz. bags.

Hmm, maybe I misinterpreted their blog, that's disappointing.
