Blue Bottle does sell smaller-quantity online, e.g.:

They do not offer all their coffees in this size, it's more of a "craft coffee" type thing they do. For example, they sell all their 90-plus coffees this way.

Yup, I've been there, done that with Blue Bottle (discussed on the previous page, too). That's a cool little program.

I have some Heart 8oz bags from two months ago, but I no longer see them online. any knowledge why?
I'm switching to 250g bags later this year.
Seriously, 20 cups of coffee worth is almost too much, IMO.

Marshall, that's great news (thanks). Please post again when you've switched over!

Not sure about Heart, as my first order from them (Chelba) was last month and came in a 12-oz. bag.

Added Tanager to the first post. Their site is still under construction, but all three coffees listed currently are sold in 250-g. bags.

I'm going to order from as many of these roasters as I can, starting with Slate. Just waiting on an email reply re: their roast schedule before pulling the trigger. Small bags for the win! ;)

Oh, and it sounds like barismo might be willing to join this club eventually (link to relevant tweet).

Added Nagadi Coffee out of Silver Spring, MD. Looks like 8-oz. bags are the *only* size they sell online.

Slate's in the house as of yesterday. I ordered 125-g. bags of two different varieties. Small [lined, properly sealed, and valved] bags for the win! Shipping was quick. First impression of the Kenya is very good.

I just made the switch to $10 bags. 250g for standard offerings, and reduced quantities for higher quality coffee. This route was spurred by the number of times I've sat at a checkout page looking at the huge figure for a top shelf coffee and decided against it when all I wanted was a taste. Additionally, I sell 4 packs at a flat rate, so I didn't want to take a beating on those nor keep the better coffees out of the pack options.
