beer&mathematics wrote:Heartbreak coffee arrived yesterday. Seriously beautiful packaging. However, the coffee wasn't as fresh as I've come to expect. 3 out of 4 jars were roasted 4/14 or 4/15 so arrived 10 or 11 days post-roast. One jar was roasted 4/21. Just FYI
^^^ Not roasted to order then, I gather. Well, guess you'll be drinking this fast! Thanks for the update.

Ruby's taking a break from 8-oz. bags, but it should just be temporary; Jared said they've streamlined operations for a few weeks while they wait for a baby to arrive.

In the meantime, I should add that the three Ruby coffees I've tried have been stellar. Highly recommended.

Added Boston Stoker, out of Vandalia, OH. 8-oz. bags are an option. Their Ardi (which I like so far) was in the most recent Guddina sampler box.

Added Terminus, out of Tacoma, WA. Their 250-g. bags are close enough to 8 oz. for me!
