Hey everyone,
March 5 should work for me: My family will be in California so I'm free!! I can help w Phoenix coffee but as others have mentioned Cartel and Press are the only decent options I'm aware of. I'm fond of press spitball blend so I can bring one one those. I can bring my vario w if we need a grinder. I'm very interested in seeing the hg 1 and I wouldn't mind using an e61 but the Cremina will be new and exciting to see as well. I will bring my portaspresso system which allows pressure profiling and will be interesting to see how it compares to a true lever. I can also bring some bottled water.
Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Jeremy

I'll bring my E37S.ilVecchio wrote:Is anyone bringing a grinder? My grinders include an HG-One, Forte, and a Precisio. Questioning whether or not someone would want a larger flat or conical burr grinder.

Joel,
Could you please send me your address, phone # and confirm the time is 1030?
I tried to PM you, but I don't think it worked.
I will bring 2 espresso home roasts. Do you need any extra cups etc.

Just curious whether anyone has tried beans from Cortez Coffee in Tempe. Someone at work recommended them, but heretofore I've never heard of them. They seem to specialize in small batch roasts and primarily serve the restaurant trade in the Valley.

Never heard of them either, but I live in Glendale. interesting that they express their roast degree as a percentage. I'm hesitant to try a coffee designed for restaurants; that being said If I have an opportunity to try them I will: who knows, maybe they'll be awesome.
