I was wondering if anyone was attending the SCAA event in Seattle? My wife an I are attending while visiting friends. If so, will there be a meeting area?

The best place to meet people is usually the reception immediately after the Opening Ceremonies.

I'll be there, covering the event for HB. Look for the official lapel pin!

We will be pulling shots for attendees at different times during the show at the La Marzocco Artisan Cafe in the Lobby and at the Slayer Espresso Machine booth. A few other companies will be demoing their goods with some of our coffees as well. We would love for you to introduce yourselves to us if you happen upon us at the show. See you there!

I'm putting together an HB dinner on Saturday Evening at Mistral Kitchen (6:30p). We have 3 spots left, if you'd like to join us. Please PM/DM/reply here if you're interested.

People have asked behind the scenes and I won't be there this year because we're moving into our new home just north of Portland. But we're looking forward to next year for sure. Meanwhile we're just slumming it here, finding fresh Stumptown, Water Avenue and other coffees in the local Whole Foods, and Compass Coffee Roasters is within an easy drive. Okay, back on topic.
