Let see SC... Too much coffee! Santa Clara works just as well. Come on Bob! The more purists the better. :)

It sounds as if you guys are going to have quite the good time just by reading the posts.

Hmm, it's been a year since I first posted this? wow time flies...

I was talking to some of the Barefoot team the other night and mentioned this. I got more positive replies, and so I hope to get this going soon, again sometime in Feb (2010). It will be on a weekend, since most of us work, and it may have to be early since they get a bit busy later on. I'm going to follow up on this for sure though, and will keep everyone posted on the progress.

I'd love to bring my happy La Peppina over and have a throw-down, or maybe just a pull-down. Sounds great.

Weekend breakfast time sounds great, nothing like sweet espresso for breakfast (and I love Barefoot espresso).

This is getting exciting, especially if Jason can bring the other open boiler, the Caravel. One of my projects is to re-package my PID in a smaller, nicer looking box, but it may have to wait until after this.

Sounds like we've got:

Jon bringing his Cremina 2002 and Elektra MCAL, right Jon?
Doug with a Pavoni pre
Henry with a Gaggia Factory
Chris with a La Peppina + PID
and maybe Jason with a Caravel if we can work out the dates

Depending upon the day, I might be able to show up with my Caravel -- which was converted to run on 110v prior to my ownership.

(Jeez, I guess I'd better practice with it some more!)

Yup!!

Jan 30/31 too early?
Feb 6/7 is out for me, since I have military duty.
Feb 15th is a long weekend, and the 14th is Valentines Day so not a good weekend,
Feb 20/21 is ok with me, as is 27th / 28th.

I will check with Barefoot to see when is good, and if a Saturday or a Sunday would be better for them.

Wow! I'd love to make a meeting like this. I'm over toward Fresno but I'd sure try to arrange the schedule to get there. Oh... I'd have to bring my little Cremina as well.

No conflicts yet for either weekend (Jan 30/31 or Feb 20/21) from my end.
