Recommendations for Portland...MAINE

I'll be in Portland Maine for a few weeks. Are there any places that I wouldn't find on the internet, or spots that have cool and unusual offerings?

Not for the coffee, but The Great Lost Bear is a place to revisit, in my view. Well done pubgrub and great loco-regional beer.

I would definitely have to second the Speckled Ax recommendation. I went there while passing through Portland a few weeks back and was served the best cappuccino I've ever had, period. I can't say for sure it was because of the wood-roasting process, but whatever they're doing there, they're doing it right. Enjoy!
