As we discussed, I just don't enjoy the super light roasting that's prevalent these days in so many espresso bars.

Thanks to all of you who listened to my rant.

Joel
T'wasn't a rant. Was a well expressed personal preference with which I agree.

Bud on Prince Edward Island needs a good espresso travel grinder. Thoughts?

Not sure if you saw my setup at the Tucson meetup but I'm still quite happy with my Portaspresso and Rosco mini hand grinder for my travel needs.

I've used the American Press I mentioned during the GTG a couple of times, and posted my first impressions here: American Press: First Impressions

I don't remember who mentioned and recommended Caffe Lusso, but thank you! I pulled my first shots of the Gran Miscela blend this afternoon and found it to be absolutely superb in its richness and natural sweetness.

Again, thank you.

Thank you, John, indeed it was. I ordered two pounds each of the espresso blends and immediately froze.
I have two bags of Italian blends coming tomorrow from EspressoZone, one Kimbo and one Lavazza. It's been quite a few
years since I've played with these. Next, on JIm Schulman's recommendation, I'll try Klatch.

If you feel like a drive to Saddlebrooke, we could play. My energy levels are quite low due to my treatment.
