I've got some work to update the OP! Nice contributions. It really shows that the multiroaster model has taken off in the big towns.

The idea of a cafe serving rotating roasters' coffees speaks for an interest in great coffee prepared well I think. You can expect to be able to get a good to great cup in such a place because great coffee is respected by the proprietors.

Ah, yeah, I didn't go there enough when I lived right around the corner. I need to stop by there next time I'm downtown.

Last week I wanted to treat a colleague to a wonderful coffee experience, so we headed for the Grind Coffee Bar on El Camino Real and Jefferson in Redwood City and discovered they'd just moved that day to the Station Cafe in San Carlos. They serve coffees prepared different ways from several roasters and have featured espresso from Verve and most recently from Klatch. I've never had an espresso there that wasn't well dialed in.

They are still known as The Grind Coffee Bar. Their new address is:

601 Old County Road
San Carlos, CA 94070

There may also be a multiroaster espresso spot in Victoria, BC. I missed Revolver when I was in Vancouver because it was not open Sundays. To me Mercury sounds particularly interesting from cofffee selection. Thanks.

They went the way of almost all other video stores. That's why the Grind had to move. For others reading this, together these businesses formed the "Groove and Grind" for videos and great coffee. Right across the street Whole Foods has a coffee bar. They sell Verve, Ritual and Philz on their shelves but none of this is prepared in their coffee bar. So now I really do have the best espresso in the neighborhood except for my neighbor Nick Cho of course. And no, Nick doesn't have a cafe here, he just lives nearby.

Thanks for that. I was hoping to hear about the scene in Texas for this list. I looked at Greenway and Catalina in Houston on line but could not tell if the one exists and whether the other still rotates roasters.
