The irony is that many home baristas do the exact opposite...Go to coffee shops to sit on a sofa with a book or a laptop--to kill some time or to work.. and strictly stick to home setup for espresso.brianl wrote:I don't go to coffee shops to sit on a sofa with my laptop or a book (that's what the home setup is for ). You're not always right, but when you're right, you're right, right?

I've never been to an Intelly location. I live near Toronto.
But we can get Intelly beans 3 days post roast at Manic coffee in Toronto. They fly them in once a week direct from Intelly. I quite liked the last bag of BC classic I got last month. I wrote about it in a different thread, saying the blend had changed since I last tried it 2 years ago. Back then it was very fruity and sour. I found the current iteration much more traditional. The fruit is still there, but takes a backseat to the nutty, chocolatey tones. And it was nicely balanced. At least for me.
