Just got notified last minnute that I'll be riding along with my GF when she drives her kids down to VA to leave them for their annual spring school visit with their cousins. We'll want to get away from the house and the hotel a few times on the weekend to hang out and don't mind traveling for good espresso. Do any of you know a spot in Virginia beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake or even arcoss the bridge in Hampton or Newport News? Or maybe I shouls just bring a Melitta cone and my own coffee....

We'll be in the Charleston SC area for several days the following weekend and would appreciate a heads up on any possibilities there as well.

I'm in Charleston right now I know of two good shops. One is Kudu Coffee House http://www.kuducoffee.net/ and the other is Muddy Waters. Their website doesn't work but their address is at 1739 Maybank Highway. Both are pretty good but to me, I give the edge to Kudu. Hope you find them and maybe I might see you there.
