As has been fairly widely reported, the Dalla Corte has fairly stringent dosing parameters, as compared for example, to my commercial lever which would happily take a 20 gram dose. The scale is verified, I dose into a shot glass by weight, the coffee is usually within the spec for the particular roast - as to age and I'm pretty good at tamping. The 17-18 gram doses are actually fine - don't particularly want to go higher. But was interested in the 20 gram report for the Dalla Corte as that has usually been too much for users with the standard dispersion screen. Suppose it is possible that the site in question had the thinner (optional) screen.
