UPDATE: Price lowered to $1000.
The time has come to sell my Rancilio S27 as I have just bought a Expobar Brewtus III as my home machine. I've owned this machine for 4 years now almost without a hiccup. I descale it once a year but have had it on an Overture QC71 filter. I have left it on 24/7 for the last year. Included is a double portafilter with a double basket, and an auber thermometer (pictured) mounted below the machine. The machine will come with the water line attached and the drain line attached.
As for pre-infusion, I mounted a switch to the bottom of the machine with strong hold velcro like material so it can be unmounted. The switch interrupts the power to the rotary pump, giving manual line pressure pre-infusion. Turn the pre-infusion switch off before the brew button is activated to allow for line pressure to saturate the group for the desired amount of time you wish, then flip the switch for the rotary pump to kick in. I can include this switch and the modification if desired, or I can remove it to put it back to the original condition without, your choice.
Please refer to the pictures and I welcome any inquiries or offers. I prefer to sell this locally and am welcome to the best offer for the machine.
Here is the link to the machine (the blind portafilter is not included, but is shown to show the espresso potential from this machine)
