Your choice (or both) never used commercial size (2 Kg) bean hopper. The cylindrical one came with a Doge 63, is 10"h x 8"d and weighs 512 g. It has a shut-off to allow removing hopper from grinder with beans still inside. The conical one came with a Doge Conico and is 11.125" h x 9.5"d and weighs 600g. It is "open throat" into the grinder. Both have the same neck od of 66 mm.
