Currently own 1 VAM and 2 Caravel machines. Time to thin the collection.

I soaked all parts in a mild natural cleanser for 24hrs. Cleaned and polished.
Piston disassembled and brush cleaned. Replaced all seals including small bottom seal.

Group head screen removed and cleaned. Replaced PF gasket.
Interior connections all tightened and tested (no arching or blowing fuses)
Tested machine thoroughly making a multitude of great shots over 1 month straight.
Element is 220V with a 120V plug convertor currently but can change plug\cord to North American 3 prong 120V if preferred.

110V new element available from http://www.brooks-usedespressomachines. ... .3-version
€32,50. Easy 2 minute no tool install. Pull out current element and push in new element.
