I've got myself a small KeepCup as a companion to my travel setup..

My travel setup includes

Aeropress Paper Filters
Thermos with Hot Water
100g bag of filter roasted coffee
Aeropress Paddle
Aeropress Rig (Cap,Plunger,Body)
Hario Skerton
Gram Scale
Small KeepCup
Ziploc Bag (for the pucks)

Anyways.. does the Aeropress absorb oils if i leave it for 2 hours uncleaned (after puck ejection and just a trivial hot water rinse on the seals) and does the KeepCup handle having coffee in it for 2 hours without staining/absorbing oils/stank???

Thanks in advance.
It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.

Not trying to make you feel bad. But hot water multiplies the leaching of plastic chemicals by 55 times over. And that is without the mechanical abrasion of the plunger. It is not in the interest of the manufacturers to recognize the problem. They are not a reliable source when it comes to this type of new safety issue. BPA free is even worse than BPA plastic as new research shows. Search google. Usually these plastics produce hormonal imbalances (fat, infertility) or other weird chronic problems.
