SwissGold filter with a Chemex

Greetings,

I found a SwissGold filter in my "miscellaneous coffee equipment storage area". Will the SwissGold work as well as the Kone filter with the Chemex?

No. Have used the Swiss Gold, a Bodum metal filter, and all 3 KONEs. The Swiss Gold and Bodum, in comparison to KONE, are almost murky. The KONE offers a hearty cup (not as oily and particle-laden as a press pot) but the cup tones, flavors, nuances, and clarity are there.

Clearly a fan-boy.
