Those who have the Kalita brewer probably have seen the filters lose their shape if not used in a timely manner.
The photo says it all. Merry Christmas, and a belated Happy Hanukkah.

I keep mine in original Kalita boxes with cardboard ring inserts from back when I was buying them in packs of 50 in 2011. I'm surprised Kalita doesn't make a little filter storage stand, because they really do need to be kept compressed to maintain their shape. I have considered making something, but I've been on a V60 kick for a while so it hasn't been a priority.

I store my 155's in a 250ml take-away cup. I like that tea tin though, Tom!

If you buy this $99 Geisha collection from Blue Bottle, you'll have Kalita filter storage containers for you home, office and travel kit

(These are the containers I am using. I think they sold these a couple years ago with some special 90+ offerings.)

If it otherwise would have been tossed out/recycled or something else need to be bought, then I wouldn't consider it free ;)

Do you guys pull from the inside or outside? I've found pulling from the outside deforms the filter less so it's less likely to collapse. With that said, I store them in the box they come in.

They are a bit annoying trying to dig them out and not screw them all up. I swear I spend too much time fixing these things before wetting them than I should. If I could have a Chemex setup at work, I'd donate every other manual brewing device I own.

That being said, I pick them out from the inside.
