It also just so happens that the older-styled Porlex is the same diameter as the inside chamber of the AeroPress, so you can put it in there for more compact storage.
You mentioned the older Porlex fits inside the Aeropress chamber, how do they compare in length? I'm still debating between a CM-45 and the Porlex for use at work with my myPressi TWIST and the Aeropress I plan to pick up tomorrow. Also there is apparently a newer Porlex that looks wider, but from specs I've been able to find it's the same diameter, just shorter and only holds 20g of beans instead of the 30g of the older model.
Do you think the Porlex is the better option of the two?
