Grind setting for Chemex using Baratza Vario-W?

Hi

Is anyone using a Vario to grind for Chemex? What settings are you using? I don't know if it matters, but my Vario has the metal burrs.

Comparing settings is pretty much useless because calibration will vary from grinder to grinder.

That being said this morning I ground 45g on O-8 for a 700g brew in 4:15 in an 8-cup.

Normally I'm somewhere around O-7, 30g, 500g, 4:00, but I wanted a larger batch to take some to work. Then I left my thermos sitting by the front door

(It was Intelli's current Costa Rica, really good)

O-7 is also what I normally use for v60 as well, 28g in 415g out.
