I was very crazy about dialing in my syphon

Anyways.... to prepare i load the grinder with 20 grams of beans... (Ethiopian Yirgacheffe)

Then i placed 200 grams of hot water in the lower bowl..

Fire the burner....

Place the filter into the top bowl

Install top bowl once boiling

Adjust butane burner with a thermometer probe inserted on top bowl (i go to 94 celsius)

Grind into cup.... and drop the grinds into the top bowl....

Start timer immediately.... and stir 3 times carefully to evenly and gently saturate all the grinds without violent movement.... wait...... and when the timer stops..... shut the butane and start the stopwatch..... (if your dose and grind is right, it will fully vacuum the brew down in 30 seconds)

If the flavor isnt enough for my taste like a lemonade being diluted too much.... i would updose but notice it would vacuum down slower..... grind coarser

But due to the coarser grounds... longer steep times are recommended....

The temperatures i steep my grinds at is 94 celsius but i keep experimenting and comparing the taste of it in different temperatures until i find the right temperature...
It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.
