Yesterday, Rusty claimed via Twitter that anyone might find the webinar useful since turbulence is involved in all coffee brewing methods.Bunn wrote:How does the presence of turbulence differ from the strength of that turbulence? How can this affect my extractions? What about flavor development? This webinar will be a sort of "round table" discussion facilitated by Rusty Angell. We will cover many topics as well as have time for Q & A.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try and be on the webinar, I know turbulence plays a big part in AP and Siphon as well as the Trifectas, but other brewers try and minimize the turbulence (Kalita).

Yup, I'll try to tune in, too.
Re: Kalita, what do you mean? I like to get up on a step ladder and pour from altitude with mine. The more forgiving the brewer, the more I feel obliged to do something to it requiring forgiveness, you know?

I also believe (from other postings elsewhere on the interweb) that there will be links available for people who cannot watch in real time...Enjoy!
