Would this bulk coffee grinder be a good espresso grinder

The guy only wants $150 for it. I wonder if it has a static problem that shoots grinds all over the counter in your garage.

Nope... might make a great bulk grinder (drip, press) based on burr condition, but that's about it. The design of the burrs and lack of fine tuning adjustability rule it out for espresso.

BeastinBarista is absolutely right.
You don't want your espresso ground in a coffee grinder. They make espresso grinders that grind and drop the espresso right into your portafilter.
Espresso grinders are meant to be kept at the same fineness for consistent shot quality.

You should never want to grind your espresso in bulk anyways. You want to use the grinds within 24 hours of grinding them for optimal crema and sweetness.

And wtf is that thing? How big is that hopper?! Why would you ever need to grind that much coffee at once?? Even BUNN's(the leader in grinders and coffee brewers) largest grinder only grinds 3 lbs at a time.

Use within 24 hrs? My standard is more like use within 24 seconds. Even 10-15 minutes makes quite the difference in extraction quality.
