Walther, There are lots of nice lever machines available to you in Europe, most of which are not well known in the States. You might want to look at the Ponte Vecchio Lusso which is fairly reasonable and has much better temp control and steaming than the Pavoni. They also appear under the Sama name used. There have been quite a few articles about them on Home Barista. Also Bella Barista has a long review on them.
