It's a little wierd that the experts on HB advocate that your grinder towers over your coffee machine, but it's so right! Sort your grinder out first & whatever machine you use ( within reason ) your shots will make the grade eventually. Your Cimbali is a machine that I contemplated buying, & it's good to hear your enjoying the benefits of it's purchase. Having a proper grinder gives me the confidence to experiment with more expensive beans, knowing that I'll have a more reliable outcome when the shot is pulled. I think with our bargain basement machines we've all perhaps got "upgradeitis" thoughts in the back of our minds, but for me, at this moment, I'm enjoying my coffee too much to worry about it
