Suggestions for an entry level HX espresso machine for $1300 CDN? - Page 5

a) the grinder is crucial, and b) at this price point, it's hard to make a mistake. Any number of machines will fit your needs.

Well, I'll have to muddle through with the Lelit 53 for now.. And it actually helps make sticking to around $1300 easier (no point getting something better if the grinder will be holding me back).

Eventually I'll spring for a Vario (should have spent the extra $150 intially, I guess), and use the Lelit as my drip/press grinder (currently using a $100 Capresso).

I think I've decided on the BZ07P (what's the P stand for?).

I don't want to risk buying a better used machine (not here in the middle of nowhere).. I like the look of the BZ07, I like that it's got a good and long-standing reputation, I like what I'm reading about it's steaming capabilities, and I'm not particular about the tweaks present in the BZ10 (I'd rather that $100 went towards a bottomless portafilter).

So that's sorted! :)

Thanks, all!

Hopefully it won't be long.. I'll have to see how much damage this trip in February does...
